We are happy to announce our new e-commerce platform. It has been introduced to some demo clients and is soon available to all customers. In this platform you can reach our customer center, your own procuct view with your favorite products and our new on-line spareparts lists, among other goodies.
We have upgraded all our face masks with a heavy-duty NFPA visor developed for the US market. The new visor does not only fulfil all requirements in the European standards EN136:1998 Cl.3+ and EN 137:2006 type 2 but also the tougher heat requirements in NFPA:2019. The new visor is slightly thicker in the centre of the visor to pass the elevated heat tests in the NFPA standard regarding radiant heat exposure.
All face masks and spare parts delivered since XXXX is equipped with this new visor type.
Note:
The visor change affects all Interspiro fire fighting face masks except the legacy model "Spiromatic face mask with Spirohatch".
Upcoming product
Interspiro is developing a new helmet with integrated ear protection and communication. The need for this product have emerged after customer requirements.
Now we are happy to show you this new product in real life. Under the mask you see our own product manager for communication systems - Ali Rais.
Brenner base tunnel
Below the Brenner base between Austria and Italy, the longest tunnel in the world is being built for freight and passenger traffic. Interspiro has been involved in this huge project because of the use of our escape breathing apparatus Ocenco / Interspiro EBA6.5. In the video below from the Brenner Pass, you can see how easy it is to use the EBA6.5.
When decision about the new Intespiro factory was taken, it took 15 month untill we moved in.
The new factory is 4760 m2 on one level, with chance to expand current capacities.
