Spirocom configuration

Enter the settings that should be applied to the Spirocom units you have on order. These settings must be submitted before production of the units can start. 

See below for more information about configuration alternatives.

When there is a default setting, it is pre-selected below.

Explanations

VPU

Voice projection unit. Loudspeaker that transmits speech from the Spircom unit to the surroundings.
Toggle = user can switch VPU on and off during use.

Locked group

Disable = the user can change the group number when unit is on.
Enable = the user must re-start the unit to be able to change group.
The reason for selecting Enable is most commonly to prevent accidentially changing group during use.

Groups

16 = the standard set-up with 16 possible Team talk groups.

15plusL = set-up with a pair of fire fighters in a group reporting to one pair leader on the outside, the "Swedish set-up".

Mute microphone

Enable = the microphone can be muted by the user for the Team Talk function. It means that the user actively can switch team talk on and off during use. The microphone can not be switched off for PTT communcitation, regardless of how this setting is selected.

Voice detection level

Threshold for activation of microphone for Team Talk function. Medium is a higher level than Default, meaning that less breathing sound and noise is transmitted but user has to talk louder to activate the microphone. (High is a higher level than Medium.)

Connection type

Select Bluetooth for Spircom units connecting to a Bluetooth radio.
Select Radio adapter for Spirocom units connecting to a radio adapter.

Device name 

It is mandatory that every Bluetooth device has a unique name. The Device name shows up in the radio when searching for Bluetooth devices when pairing Spirocom with the radio. The units will be marked on the outside with the device name during production.
Normally the device name is the name or inititals of the fire brigade or fire station.
Enter the name and the numbers to be applied on this order, e.g "ATT056 to ATT065". If the numbers not are in a sequence, write all numbers.

Förklaringar

VPU

Röstförstärkare (Voice projection unit). Högtalare som sänder ut talet från Spirocom till omgivningen.
Toggle = användaren kan stänga av och sätta på VPU under användning.

Locked group

Disable = användaren kan byta grupp när enheten är på.
Enable = användaren måste starta om enheten för att kunna byta grupp.
Anledning till att välja Enable är oftast för att förhindra att man av misstag byter grupp under användning. 

Groups

16 = internationell konfiguration med 16 grupper.
15plus1 = "Svensk konfiguration" med rökdykarpar och rökdykledare.

Mute microphone

Om satt till Enable, så kan mikrofonen stängas av för team talk. Det betyder att användaren aktivt kan stänga av och sätta på team talk under användning. Mikrofonen kan aldrig stängas av för PTT-kommunkation, oberoende av hur denna inställning är gjord.

Voice detection level

Tröskelvärde för aktivering av mikrofonen till team talk. Medium är en högre nivå än Default, vilket betyder att mindre andningsljud och brus sänds men användaren måste tala högre för att aktivera mikrofonen (High är en högre nivå än Medium). 

Radio connection

Välj Bluetooth för Spircom som ansluter till blåtandsradio.
Välj Radio adapter för Spirocom som ansluter till radioadapter.

Device name 

Det är ett måste att alla blåtands-enheter har ett unikt namn. Device name visas i radion när den söker efter blåtandsenheter under parning av Spirocom BT och radioapparaten. Enheterna kommer att märkas på utsidan med detta namn vid produktionen.
Oftast är detta namnet eller initialer av namnet på brandkåren eller brandstationen.
Skriv namnet och löpnumren som ska användas för denna order, t.ex. "ATT056 to ATT065". Om numren inte är i sekvens, skriv alla nummer.
